Are these official State forms?
No. They are working guides that help you meet minimum standards. Use current official HHSC forms where they are required, such as the State's Fire Drill Report, and check HHSC for newer revisions.
Is the manual legal advice?
No. It is a starting point, written for a small Texas Type B assisted living facility. Every home should review its policies against its own license type and the current rules, and with its own advisers.
Can I edit it?
Yes. The Starter Edition includes a Word file for the manual, and the Excel sheets open and edit like any spreadsheet. Replace the placeholders on the cover with your own details.
Can I share or resell it?
The two free sheets can be printed and used in your own home. The Starter Edition and the preview are for your home's use; please do not resell or redistribute them.
